I've sort of moved!

Hello there dear followers!
I know it's been a very long time since I last posted, (over a year actually)  but I have been super busy with all kinds of different things that I'm excited to share.

Please forgive me as I should have written this a long time ago!  Ah, but you know how it is... so easy to get side-tracked!

I got a new blog!
(I also got a new username and am slowly getting around to following all the blogs I did before, forgive me if I haven't followed yours yet, I will soon!)
Its a more personal blog that I'm writing under my writers pseudonym, Abigail.

I'm not going to delete Victory Vintage because I still get a bunch of vists to some of my informational posts and so I know it might still be helping people.  I'm also one of those people who can't get rid of anything (pack rat alert!) so apparently, that includes blogs.  But I'm probably not going to post anymore.  Victory Vintage  was and is a wonderful, helpful blog for me to write on.  I learned a lot and made lots of friends through this, its just sort of time for a change.  I didn't want to change the overall format of Victory Vintage, as I saw it as more of an informational and historical kind of blog, but I wanted a more personal and picture-heavy outlet and wanted to start anew.

I was guess i was feeling uninspired, and when I was writing Victory Vintage, i didn't want to write much else.  I guess it took all my writing juice!
After a long break, I had been thinking a lot about getting back into the blogging world, but what I wanted to do was a bit different, and just didn't have the heart to change around this blog, so I challenged myself to start at square one.

I've been interested in web design and other forms of design for quite sometime now.  Besides that, I just wanted to make a page that was totally 'me', not just a theme I had chosen and was scared to stray from.
I'm also trying to post only if I really, really want to share something, and not out of obligation.  Music and writing and family comes first, I run the blog and will post when I want (or so i tell myself!  So far i think i have followed that well, and continue to write a lot and practice my music.)

On Sweeter Gets the Journey, I post a lot of my personal photography, sewing projects and lots of stuff about my dog, Daisy.  I've also started adding things that I've written, as this is one of my aspirations.
I would be so honored and pleased if you would visit me there at Sweeter Gets the Journey.

Here's a little sample:

Like i said, this blog isn't completely closed, i don't have the heart to shut it down and i don't have the heart to change it all up so i started over.
.Thanks so much for coming over here to listen to me ramble again, i really appreciate each and every one of you, and still think of this blog and the friends I've made through here very often and very fondly. Thank you so very much for all of the sweet comments you've left and time you've spent here.

I hope you have a wonderful day!
Love your friend,
Beth (aka Abigail)
